Add a chamber
Name a chamber, add a second chamber, change the order of chambers, and remove a chamber. Also learn how a chamber sets the groups of participants.

What a chamber is
A chamber is one room. Carrier matches participants when they enter a chamber. The number of participants in the group is the number of human slots. The group stays together for all segments of the chamber.
Use one chamber for each grouping. For example, use two chambers to make new groups, or to go from a task for one person to a group discussion.
-
Name it
Click a chamber to open it. Its settings appear on the right. Type the name in Chamber Name.
The name is for you and for the data export. Only a participant in a mediator or processor seat sees the name, in the panel of that seat.
The same settings also have:
- Matching Timeout: the maximum time for matching.
- The action when the matching time ends.
The chamber becomes Discussion. -
Add another
The + on a chamberline adds a chamber at the end of the chamberline. A new chamber has one Chat segment and no participants.
Chamber 2 appears after Discussion. -
Order and remove
The arrows on a chamber move it before or after the other chambers. Participants go through the chambers from left to right.
The bin removes a chamber after you confirm. The last chamber of a chamberline has no bin.
Click Deploy to save.
Chamber 2 moves to the first position, then the chamber is deleted.
