Add a feed to a chamber

Add a social media feed to a study. Drag the Social segment in, open its Feed Builder, and learn its parts.

  1. Drag Social in

    Do these steps:

    • Open the chamber.
    • Drag Social from the library onto the timeline of the chamber.
    • Click the new segment.
    • Click Open Feed Builder.

    A new feed starts with one account and one post, so that you can see an example. You will change both.

  2. The Feed Builder

    The Feed Builder has these parts:

    • Left: the feed timeline. It shows the posts in the order that they appear. Add post is below the list, and the accounts are at the bottom.
    • Middle: the post editor. Click a post to edit its account, caption, image, appearance time, time label and likes.
    • Right: the participant preview. It has a tab for each layout (Instagram, Facebook, Reddit) and chips that show what each layout allows.
    • Top: the General, Agents and Feed tabs, a readiness chip, Feed settings, and Data.

    The readiness chip shows the number of problems to correct. Data imports or exports the feed as a spreadsheet.

    Save closes the builder. Deploy saves the study. When you add the feed, Carrier also makes its seven variables. See What the feed records.
