Add an agent to the room
Make an agent, give it the name that participants see, and put it in a chamber with the participants.
-
Create it
Under Agents in the library, click Create New Agent. The form asks for:
- Agent Name.
- Display Name: the name that participants see in the chat. If it is empty, Carrier uses the agent name.
- An avatar.
- A description (optional).
The LLM Response section is for an agent that writes its replies with an AI model. For a scripted agent, which says only the lines that you give it, keep this section closed.
Click Add Agent to put the agent in the library. When the agent is in a chamber, the builder shows its display name.
Host, with the display name Harbour host. -
Seat it
Drag the agent from the library into the cast of the chamber. Under Communicators, the agent talks like a participant. But it is not a human slot, and matching waits only for the human participants.
Click the agent to open its settings. The settings have:
- Its name and avatar.
- LLM Response.
- Open Script Builder, for scripted lines.
In these settings, you set when the agent talks and what it says (see A scripted confederate and An AI partner in a chat). Click Deploy to save.
Harbour host joins the two residents in the Discussion chamber.
