Write a post

A post from one of the feed's accounts: its caption, image, time label and likes. Also how to remove a post.

  1. The post

    Add post, under the feed timeline, makes a post and opens it. Set these fields:

    • Posted by: the account that posts it.
    • Caption: the text of the post.
    • Time label: the age that the participant sees, for example "2h". This label is for display only.
    • Base likes: the count under the post.

    Appears and Offset set when the post shows (see Posts that arrive over time). When a participant likes the post, the count increases by one on that participant's screen only.

  2. Its image

    Media sets the picture. Select one of these sources:

    • preset: a built-in illustration (dusk, bake, sea or plants).
    • url: an image from a web address. The browser of each participant loads it.
    • library: an image from the image library of the study. This choice shows only after you upload images (Images, under Media). See Build a social media study with simulated accounts.

  3. Remove a post

    Select a post in the timeline.

    Push the bin adjacent to its ID.

    Save the feed. Then push Deploy.

    The starter post is removed. The ferry post stays.
